Careline Personal Alarm

24/7 help at the touch of a button

Our personal alarms mean that help is just the touch of a button away.

It is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week, helping you and your loved ones remain independent and safe inside your own homes.

Independence when you want it, help when you need it

Our Careline personal alarm offers peace of mind and reassurance round-the-clock. Worn around the neck or wrist, our pendant is comfortable and discreet. By the touch of a button, our call monitoring centre can contact family, friends or the emergency services if needed, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Our Careline personal alarm:

  • is lightweight and easy to wear
  • allows you to move freely about your home and garden
  • is waterproof for use in the shower
  • has a range of approximately 50 m (this may vary depending on the structure of your property, our installers will check the range when they visit)

Our 24-hour alarm service is connected to your home through your telephone landline and an electrical socket.

Once the button is pressed on your pendant, it will send a signal to the alarm unit in your home. This will automatically dial the call monitoring centre where one of our operators will answer your call in seconds.

Even if you can’t speak, or are too far away from the unit, our operator will know who you are, and will have all your details to hand. They’ll contact a relative, neighbour or the emergency services on your behalf.

You may be eligible for help towards the cost of your new Careline Personal Alarm

We offer a grant to cover the cost of the installation of our Careline Personal Alarm and Falls Pendant if you live within West Norfolk and are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, or experiencing memory loss.

Sound Booster

The Sound Booster is a speaker with a built-in microphone that increases the audible range of the Vi Alarm in the home, making it easier for residents to communicate with the monitoring centre when they need to.

Using a Sound Booster, in combination with an Vi Alarm, in areas such as the hall, lounge or bedroom, provides reassurance to the resident that they will be heard and reduces No Voice Contact calls and unnecessary responder callouts.

Falls Pendant

Our Vibby falls pendant is an ideal solution if you experience regular falls due to poor mobility or long-term health conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.

Worn around the neck the falls pendant offers peace of mind and reassurance that if you have a heavy/dangerous fall, a call will automatically be placed to our call centre.

Some falls (soft or broken falls against a wall or chair) may not be detected by the pendant, so we encourage you to always press the button if you are able to.

Our falls pendants:

  • are priced at £4.30 per week for the weekly rental
  • are lightweight, easy to wear and stylish
  • allow you to move freely about your home and garden
  • automatically alerts us if you have a heavy/dangerous fall
  • are a great solution if you experience regular falls and poor mobility*

*If you are still mobile and move around your home freely we would suggest that you try our Careline GO or Careline Personal Alarm to prevent false calls being made through to the call centre from your Falls Pendant.
