As part of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk you are assured of a quality service by staff who are highly trained and have undergone police security checks. Our Visiting Officers are all Trusted Assessors and have been trained by the Disabled Living Foundation. They have also undergone dementia specific training and some members of staff are qualified Dementia Care Coaches.
Our Handyperson Service has been awarded Quality Mark status by Foundations who are appointed by the Department of Communities and Local Government to oversee home improvement agencies (HIAs) and handyperson providers across England. Foundations are committed to driving up standards in the HIA and handyperson sectors regardless of what organisation provides these services.
Careline Community Service is also registered with Trustmark. This is the Government-backed quality scheme that signposts people to reputable local firms and expert tradespeople working to Government-endorsed standards. All TrustMark firms are uniquely checked for their trading practices, customer service and their technical skills.
At Careline we can provide impartial advice, guidance and information on other local services and work closely with neighbouring councils and the voluntary sector.
We can also refer you to other Council departments including the benefits teams who can make sure you are claiming all of the benefits you are entitled to.
Careline Community Services has access to government and third party funding so depending on your circumstances some or all of the costs incurred may be met by one of these grants. Our Visiting Team will be able to advise you of this prior to any works being carried out.
